Live Maps, Location & Tracking

The web app provides live maps with participant positions and paths when you are checked in on an active trek. Native apps are recommended when you need the most reliable background tracking and device sensors, but the browser is a full participant — not limited to passive viewing only.

Terminology

Mode Meaning on web
Check In You appear on the live map; location can update for the group
View Only Follow others on the map without checking in as an active tracker
